List of Disabilities
Many clients ask if there is a list of disabilities that the Social Security Administration uses. There are so many factors that go into the decision whether you will receive SSI or SSDI, that a list alone cannot determine your eligibility. Factors such as severity of disability, how the disability prevents you from doing your current work or other work and your age, are just some of the considerations for a decision.
However, the following is a list of disabilities for you to refer to. This list is not meant to make a decision for you nor meant to diagnose you. Call us at 619-282-JLAW (5529) to discuss the details of your case, and we can help you to understand the best next steps for your particular case.
